Crown Lodge, set within the tranquil grounds of Crown House, is a spacious, light-filled retreat arranged over two floors. Its contemporary open-plan design features an interior balcony and an exterior balcony that extends into the leafy canopy of a magnificent walnut tree—an inviting spot for peaceful mornings or relaxing evenings.
The lodge is filled with original artwork and ceramics, giving the space a creative, characterful feel. A well-maintained piano adds to its charm and makes Crown Lodge particularly appealing to visiting musicians performing or teaching at Snape Maltings and the Britten Pears arts programmes.
Perfect for couples and welcoming to well-behaved dogs, Crown Lodge also offers flexible sleeping arrangements: fold-out single beds can accommodate one or two children, or provide space for a third adult in the downstairs living area.
